- Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you when you use our mobile application, Wallpurr (the "App"). We do not collect any personally identifiable information from you directly. However, we use third-party services that may collect information as described below.
- Information We Do Not Collect
We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information like your name, email address, or phone number to use our App.
Voluntary Permissions: The App may request certain permissions (such as Photo Library access, push notifications, or tracking authorization) to provide enhanced features. All permissions are optional, and you can decline them without affecting the core functionality of the App. If you choose to grant permissions, you can revoke them at any time through your device settings.
- Information Collected by Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, which may collect anonymous and non-personal data to help us improve our service and display advertisements:
- Firebase (by Google): We use Firebase for analytics, crash reporting, and cloud messaging (push notifications). This service helps us understand how users interact with the App, identify bugs, and improve performance. Firebase may collect data such as your device type, operating system version, app version, session duration, and crash logs. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you. For push notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) generates a unique token for your device, which is used solely to deliver push notifications to you. This token is sent to our backend servers to enable push notification delivery. For more information, please review Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- AdMob (by Google): We use AdMob to show ads to non-premium users. AdMob may collect and use data about you to provide personalized advertising, such as your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), approximate location (derived from IP address), device information, and ad interaction data, if you have consented to tracking via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework on iOS. You can reset this identifier or opt-out of personalized ads in your device settings. For more information, please review Google AdMob's Privacy Policy: https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543
- Apple StoreKit: When you make in-app purchases, Apple processes your payment information. We do not have access to your payment details. Apple may collect transaction information in accordance with their privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/privacy/
- Device Identifiers: To enable push notifications and improve app functionality, we collect your device's unique identifier (identifierForVendor), which is a non-personal identifier that is unique to your device and our App. This identifier is used to associate your FCM token with your device and is not used to track you across other apps or websites.
- Photo Library Access: When you choose to save a wallpaper to your device, the App requests access to your Photo Library. We do not access, read, or collect any information from your Photo Library except to save the wallpaper image you have selected. The wallpaper is saved directly to your device, and we do not have access to any other photos or data in your Photo Library.
- How We Use Collected Information
The anonymous data collected through third-party services is used for the following purposes:
- To operate and maintain the App.
- To understand usage patterns and improve the user experience.
- To diagnose and fix technical problems.
- To display advertisements to support the free version of the App.
- To send you push notifications about new wallpapers, app updates, and other relevant information (only if you have enabled push notifications in your device settings).
- To save wallpapers to your Photo Library when you choose to download them.
- Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. The anonymous data collected is processed by our third-party partners (Google, Apple) and our backend servers according to their respective privacy policies. We only share data as necessary to provide our services:
- Google Services: Data collected through Firebase and AdMob is processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policies.
